Over the past month, Australasian Youth Cubesat Initiative has worked in partnership with the Port Phillip Library Service, Royal Society of Victoria, Victorian Space Science Education Centre and Public Libraries Victoria to deliver the first iteration of our Apollo Program workshops. Designed to equip students with the skills needed to thrive in Australia's rapidly expanding space industry, the workshops provided participants with an introduction to rocket design, engineering and the principles behind space flight, such as orbital mechanics. We're looking for students people at the top of their game to join our organisation. We currently have a number of volunteer positions available in our Educational Outreach and Public Policy Advocacy teams. After a COVID-induced hiatus, our organisation is resuming operations, working towards our goal of inspiring, supporting and empowering the next generation through the facilitation of a student-led cubesat satellite development program. We aim to build an innovative team with gender and cultural diversity.
