Stage 1 of today's moves! The recent rain has led to one if the stable yards being unsuitable for the high needs sheep so some moves are needed. First the three goats, who roam the paddocks during the day, needed to move out of their digs into a new yard and shelter. Now of all the animals here, goats are the ones who hate change the most. Many do not realise this, and goats are sent " on loan" to eat weeds, which must stress them so much. Romeo, Bicki and Lucifer are " not happy" this afternoon but hopefully they will like their new shelter! Now to move the rest..it's musical chairs here today! (fb)

Some welcome rain has arrived, together with gale force icy winds. Seamus and some of the older ( and not so old ) sheep are weathering it out in one of the shelters. Days like this I wish we had enough shelters for everyone! (fb)
