The CFSVA had the privilege to attend the Tea Tree Gully CFS Brigade 90 Years Serving the Community Event on Sunday celebrating three major milestones. - 90 Years of the establishment of a Fire Fighting Association with appointed Fire Control Officers in the Tea Tree Gully District. - 80 Years of the first registered Fire Fighters and an organised fire service in the Tea Tree Gully District. - 70 Years of the formal registration of the Tea Tree Gully Brigade and the opening of the Tea Tree Gully Emergency/Country Fire Service Station. - Congratulations to all the past and present CFS Volunteers of the Tea Tree Gully CFS. And Congratulations again to Jim Sanford AFSM for being acknowledged in the recent Kings’ Birthday Honours. (fb)
