Here's a story from Melanie: “My husband joined our local Men's Shed a few months ago. He and retired this year and although he has kept himself busy helping out the family, I'm sure he felt a void in his day. It was a very big step for him when he decided to pay a visit to his local Men' Shed. He was instantly made to feel welcome and before long had a project happening. Now he is there 3 or sometimes 4 days a week. He comes home with stories of the new people he has met and proudly displays the things he has made. This was a big step for my husband.
