Founded in 1978, our non-profit and nonsectarian Australian Buddhist Temple runs weekly Dhamma classes, guided meditation, and courses in the Theravada, Mahayana, Vajrayana and Zen traditions. We conduct an ongoing program of religious activities. These include conducting regular online and onsite classes and course to teach how Buddhist learning and practice supports personal happiness, security and wellbeing. Also we conducted some fundraising activities to support our organisation and raise funds for a Buddhist orphanage in Bangladesh. We contributed our services to the wider community through our work to conduct the Victorian United Nations Day of Vesak which helps to bring Victoria's ethnic communities of Asian origins together in co operation and friendship. These activities enable our organisation to fulfill its mission to introduce a philosophy of life based on Buddha Dhamma Teachings , and to encourage the study, practice and realisation to Buddha Dhamma.
