🐶 Just over a week to go until the Pooch Party. Please note the new location at the Port Douglas Surf Life Savers grounds. 🦮 The morning will kick off at 9.30am with a best dressed dog walk from Reynolds Park to the beach and finishing at the Surf Life Savers for the party! 🥳 Make sure you come down and see us, we will be hosting the sausage sizzle, as well as having our natural treats and enrichment toys for sale. 🐾 We will have some of our shelter dogs joining in the fun, so make sure you come and see them! 🙌🏻 Raffle tickets will be on sale from the shelter soon, we will update you when they arrive! Boarding and Day Care Adopt Welcome to Paws and Claws Animal Shelter Paws and Claws animal shelter is a nonprofit no kill dog and cat rescue organisation. The organisation rescues and rehouses neglected and homeless dogs and cats in the Douglas Shire Region. After 16 years of fundraising we have just opened our brand new shelter in August 2022. As a not for profit charity Paws and Claws relies on the commitment of our supporters and volunteers to continue to fund our rescue work.
