Last night we were pleased to partner with Queensland Ballet to present an exclusive screening of Roger Vadim’s Dangerous liaisons 1960 at the Thomas Dixon Centre - our very first event with new director of Alliance Francaise de Brisbane, Jean-Philippe Bottin! The film was followed by an interesting Q&A on the creative process behind adaptions for cinema and stage including musical scores and costumes, and what makes creators keep coming back to Choderlos de Laclos’ compelling tale of seduction and deceit, even after 200 years.
