ECHO clients on their Social Support in a Group outing walked over the new Boorloo Bridge yesterday. Some made the whole journey from the Victoria Park side to the city side, while others did a half bridge walk from Heirisson Island to the city side. It was a very warm day, but there was still a cooling easterly breeze blowing over the bridge. This was the first time over the new pedestrian/cycle bridge for all members of the group and proved an enjoyable outing – followed by lunch at the Victoria Park Hotel. (fb)
