EMBRACING 'VALOUR' AT SCOTS PGC | It has become part of SCOTS PGC tradition for our Year 12 leaders to choose a theme that represents how they will guide and lead others throughout the school year. Earlier this year, in Term 1, our leaders put their heads together at their Leadership Camp to come up with the 2025 theme, 'Valour'. They chose 'Valour' because it sits right at home with our current College values of Spirit, Tenacity, Authenticity, Excellence and Respect. They spoke about valour as more than courage in the face of challenges – it’s about showing integrity, standing up for what’s right, and persevering when the path is difficult. Wearing the badge each day serves as a reminder to live out these values in our learning, our relationships, and our actions. This week, every student at SCOTS PGC College received their Valour theme badges. Our Year 12 leaders visited classes to personally hand each student their badge. Alongside the presentation, leaders shared the significance of this year’s theme and why Valour was chosen to guide our community for the remainder of this year. The tradition of an annual theme badge at SCOTS PGC is a cherished one, encouraging all members of the College community to unite behind a shared vision and carry it proudly throughout the year. (fb)
