The NDIA have released the successful recipients of its Support Coordination Quality Supports grant program — a $2 million initiative originally announced by The Hon Amanada Rishworth back on 6th February 2025 . This grants program is designed to test and inform what “quality” service provision and what underlying service costs look like for Support Coordination. Early searches on GrantConnect suggest only three providers have been awarded grants, totalling around $55,700. While the providers themselves are not in question, the very limited scope raises concerns about how representative the findings will be. The outcomes may not reflect the diversity and complexity of today’s Support Coordination market — or the organisational models highlighted in the NDIS Review and Disability Royal Commission. DIA is actively engaging with the NDIA on the scope and process of this program. DIA will provide a further update and analysis of this program as more information becomes available.
