Fleur’s dream lives on: Building Sandcastles children’s hospice. Heartbreakingly, Fleur passed away in 2022. However, her wish for a beachside sanctuary where seriously ill children and their families can find respite, comfort, and care is now becoming a reality. Set along the coast and surrounded by the healing elements of sun, sea, and sand, Sandcastles (Boodja Mia) children’s hospice will offer specialist respite and end-of-life care in warm, welcoming space that feels like a home.
