🌿 Real-World Learning in Action 🌿 Yesterday, a group of Year 10 students—who will begin Environmental Systems and Societies as part of the IB Diploma Programme next year—attended the biennial Dorothy Hill Symposium at the University of Queensland. This academic conference brings together experts, researchers and students from a wide range of environmental fields, including earth sciences, environmental management, geography, marine biology, ecology, oceanography and science communication. It was a fantastic opportunity for our students to connect with current environmental issues and gain insight into the exciting journey ahead in their IB studies. 🌏💚 (fb)

Last week’s Kaleidoscope concert was a spectacular showcase of musical talent at Somerville House. Every ensemble and band delivered phenomenal performances that truly lit up the evening. A special shoutout to our Guitar Ensemble for their bold rendition of Smoke on the Water—what a moment! 🎸🔥 As our final Kaleidoscope concert of the year, it was a fitting close to an unforgettable year of music.
