We’re excited to announce the eight talented applicants selected to take part in the 2025 Ripple: Disability and Culturally Diverse Internship Program run by Accessible Arts in partnership with Diversity Arts Australia. Congratulations to Aisyah Sumito, Ava Lacoon, Daley Rangi, Katerina Asistin, Lina Ali, Soph Li Rong, Sufiya Naqvi and Taryn Lee. They will each be undertaking an exciting internship designed to help improve access to arts, culture and community events for people with disability from underrepresented culturally diverse backgrounds. These valuable internships will take place at Art Gallery of New South Wales, Utp, 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art, APRA AMCOS, Powerhouse Museum, National Portrait Gallery and Campbelltown Arts Centre. Applications are now open for the 2025 Accessible Arts and Bundanon Artist-In-Residence Program. We encourage visual artists, writers and musicians with disability or who are d/Deaf from NSW and the ACT to apply. Up to five artists will be funded to undertake a six night residency at the renowned Bundanon estate in October. As part of our free Advance Your Career series for artists with disability, we’re hosting an Online Information Session to provide detailed information about this exciting program and the application process. Accessible Arts CEO Liz Martin will lead the session, joined by Bundanon Artist Liaison Officer, Alacoque Dash, along with previous Bundanon artist-in-residence Carly Marchment.
