We are delighted that the Journeys of Belonging exhibition will be featured at Parliament House in Canberra during the Catholic Social Services Australia (CSSA) 2025 Parliamentary Advocacy Summit on 28–29 October. This is a proud moment — not only for CSSA, but most importantly for the courageous individuals who shared their stories and portraits. Their lived experiences will be present in Parliament House, reminding us that behind every decision are people with dignity, strength, and hope. As the exhibition continues its journey, so too does its powerful message: that belonging, inclusion, and respect are essential to building communities where everyone can thrive. We strongly encourage all our members to participate in and attend this exhibition, to witness firsthand the stories that shape our collective advocacy. By standing alongside those, whose voices are often unheard, we not only honour their courage but also reaffirm our shared commitment to justice, compassion, and belonging. Your presence at the exhibition is more than attendance — it is an act of solidarity that strengthens our mission and ensures these journeys continue to inspire change where it matters most. (fb)
Our CEO, Dr. Jerry Nockles, at the 2025 NATSICC National Assembly in the Hunter Valley. This gathering celebrates the strength, faith, and culture of First Nations communities, providing a space for leaders, elders, and community members to come together in dialogue, reflection, and shared purpose. It reminds us of the strength and hope of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, and the importance of walking together as Pilgrims of Hope. 📸 Moment 1: Jerry Nockles - Leading Catholic Social Services Australia with Craig Arthur, National Administrator of National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Catholic Council– celebrating collaboration and shared vision for First Nations Catholic communities. 📸 Moment 2: Bishop Gaucci (Darwin) leads the NT & Torres Strait delegation in the Day 3 opening prayer, inspiring unity, reflection, and hope. #NATSICC2025 #PilgrimsOfHope #FirstNationsFaith #CatholicCommunity #LeadershipInAction #WalkingTogether (fb)
