Bring it on! The Push For Better Foundation runs The PushUp Challenge, Australia's largest mental health and fitness event. In 2022, over 150,000 participants completed 3,318 pushups over 25 days in June 2022, to acknowledge the number of lives lost to suicide in 2020. The PushUp Challenge aims to engage people in mental health in a fun and unique way by delivering on three key foundations: education, connection and health and wellbeing. By delivering on these three foundations, The Foundation is proud to be delivering our objectives by raising awareness of mental health, encouraging open conversations about mental health, destigmatising mental illness, encouraging mentally healthy actions and raising funds for mental health and suicide prevention. In 2022 The PushUp Challenge raised $10 million for The Push For Better Foundation, Lifeline Australia and Movember.
