Relationship Matters Counselling, Mediation and Relationship Education Services

Relationship Matters is a not for profit organisation strengthening relationships since 1947. Relationship Matters Counselling and Mediation promotes healthy, respectful and fulfilling relationships within the Victorian community. Established in 1947 as the Church of England Marriage Guidance Council, Relationship Matters retains close ties to the Anglican Church and enjoys support as an Anglican Agency. Relationship Matters recognises relationships in all their diversity and our services are offered to individuals, couples and families inclusive of sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnicity, religion, ability or socioeconomic circumstance. We work towards building positive, safe and respectful relationships, and the prevention of violence. Relationship Matters provides a range of relationship services, including individual counselling; relationship counselling; family therapy; relationship learning programs; communication skills and personal development; family dispute resolution, mediation; and behaviour change programs to address family violence and/or abuse. At Relationship Matters we recognise that work and life are intimately connected, and offer workplace services for employers and employees, through our Workplace Services division which includes Employee Assistance Programs (EAP). Relationship Matters operates across eight physical sites in Victoria, with main service sites in Melbourne City, Frankston and Hoppers Crossing (Wyndham) and satellite sites in Glen Eira, Preston, Moonee Ponds, Geelong, and Wangaratta.
