Friends of Nepal - Australia Inc

Helping children in need of health and education in Nepal The floods that impacted the people of Sindhupalchok mid June resulted in loss of life, left many homeless, and devastated a community already struggling with the COVID pandemic. Friends of Nepal partnered with a local NGO Just Nepal Foundation to provide relief to the affected families. A fundraising event was organised and we were able to send just over AUD 6000 to the affected families. The partnership with RIDSNepal continues but this year we had to shift focus in helping those in need affected by flood but still retain our commitment to running the holistic community development program with RIDSNepal.

Clothing appeal for kids in Nepal. ------------------------------------- As the Dashain festivities nears, so does winter in Nepal. We would like to take warm clothes for kids in Nepal. Most of these kids are from homes where we are supporting single and widowed mothers through Cdon Nepal. The detail is in the link below. A bit about us Friends of Nepal Australia Inc is a charity registered with Australian Charities and Notforprofit Commission ACNC and Department of Mines Industry Regulation and Safety to operate in Western Australia. We are an independent group working towards helping disadvantaged people especially children in Nepal. Through our fund raising efforts and with the support of our members we are able in our own small way to make a real difference to people less fortunate than ourselves. The story about how we came together is deepy rooted in the passion to help those in need.
