As part of our Kindy philosophy, we explore and immerse our kindy cohort with rich and meaningful experiences to extend our knowledge on Indigenous perspectives. Our kindy kids thoroughly enjoyed meeting @auntysharronmiriibell, @auntymerlecashman at the @moretonbayeec Outdoor Classroom Day, listening and dancing to her storytelling and music. They enjoyed a day out playing indigenous games, exploring flora and fauna, and expressing themselves through ochre painting. Our kindy Teachers and Educators also recently met with Elisha @yura_tours for a walk on country, who shared her perspectives and knowledge of Minjierribah (North Stradbroke Island) on Quandamooka Land. These experiences shared with our Kindy staff and children are what drives our programs to instil culture and indigenous perspectives. (fb)
