We provide free and accessible legal services to vulnerable and disadvantaged people in Melbourne's north west. NCLC delivers high-quality legal services, community development support and targeted legal education to our priority client groups across our catchment area. Northern Community Legal Centre (NCLC) provides legal services and community legal education to the most vulnerable and disadvantaged people in Melbourne s North West, and advocates for equal access to justice. NCLC seeks to make our services accessible to all the community by providing legal advice, education and referrals. NCLC has prioritised the following groups, which have the least resources and ability to access legal assistance: those experiencing or at risk of family violence; those who are newly arrived or refugees; young people aged 25 and under; those with a mental illness and other members of our community who have or are facing multiple systemic barriers to achieving justice in their legal matters. The Northern Community Legal Centre develops and delivers community legal education which promotes community participation in the recognition, understanding and solution of people s own legal problems.
