The Blackstone Society the UWA Law Students Society is the peak representative body for students studying law at the University of Western Australia. Established in 1928 we represent approximately 1000 students across the Faculty of Law. For students the Society runs a wide range of events across social careers education equity wellness competitions and prelaw portfolios and advocates for law students at the university state and national levels For the legal profession the Society is the conduit between students and firms nongovernmental organisations and government departments. We publish current opportunities to students an annual careers handbook showcasing the diverse experiences of law graduates and maintain a database of legal and professional service firms.
