Tyndale Christian School opened in February 1966 on Kildare Road with 32 students and expanded to secondary education in 1976[5]. The school relocated to its current Douglas Road campus in 1979 and introduced preschool classes in 2008[3][5]. By 2021, its Year 12 cohort included students who had completed their entire education from preschool at Tyndale[5].
Governance and Operations
The Association operates under the Corporations Act 2011 (Cth), overseen by a member-elected Board responsible for strategic and financial governance[3]. Membership is open to Christians endorsing the school’s Educational Creed, which emphasizes parental responsibility for faith-based education[3][5]. The Board collaborates with the principal and staff through committees to implement policies and operational goals[3].

Tynday 2025 // What an incredible Tynday we had! The energy was electric as our four Houses—Knox, Wycliffe, Carey, and Taylor—kicked off the day with their epic team chants, setting the perfect tone for a thrilling day of sports. From the very first activity, each house was determined to score as many points as possible, showcasing the spirit of teamwork and competition. After an exciting morning filled with various sports, we refuelled over lunch, ready to unleash our cheers once more! The triathlon brought out the best in our representatives, pushing their limits and exciting the crowd. As if that wasn’t enough, the day concluded with the ever-competitive tug of war. What a fantastic display of strength, strategy, and house pride! Ultimately, a huge congratulations to Carey for claiming victory in Tynday this year—well-deserved! A massive thank you to all the students, volunteers, and teachers who made this day possible. Your hard work ensured everything ran smoothly and created a wonderfully fun atmosphere as we wrap up Term 3. Year 12 Final Assembly and Graduation // What a memorable day celebrating the Class of 2025! Our Year 12 Final Assembly was a heartwarming send-off filled with incredible performances and fun games, where we bid farewell to our fellow students from both Primary and Secondary. The day culminated in a beautiful graduation ceremony, where each student received their well-deserved certificates of completion. A special shoutout to those recognised for their outstanding achievements, including maintaining high scores and other commendable contributions!
