The Club is sad to inform members of the passing of Club Life and Foundation member, Geoff Price. Geoff was also warmly known by many members as 'Clem' and was a stalwart of the Club in its inception in the late 50's and early 60's. Geoff was certainly one to lead the way by being the Club's inaugural Secretary and Treasurer in 1959/60 and then again in 1968/69. He was Club Captain for 7 seasons from 1960-66 and Club President for 11 seasons from 1974-85. Importantly, he was Club President during the period when the Club was destroyed by vandals in 1982 and rebuilt in 1985. A torrid and challenging period where he and Club Secretary at the time, Geoff Moffat, had to fight to maintain the club where it stands today.
