Rain? Pfft. Team Bassendean House Takes the Royal Show by Storm! The weather was chilly. The rides were wild. And the smiles? They were next level. The SIL crew headed to the Perth Royal Show recently—and let’s just say, they made it a day to remember. ✨It started with animal exhibits and checking out the creative showcases. ✨Then Mandy hit the bumper cars like she was on a mission from Mario Kart. ✨Ryan faced “The Rage” ride like a legend (not a flicker of fear in those eyes!). ✨Ghost train? Only the fearless joined… and they crushed it. ✨And of course, no Show Day is complete without a serious showbag spree. We laughed, we screamed (okay… some staff screamed 😅), and by the end of the day, we were exhausted—but happy. Because that’s what it’s about: moments of joy, connection, and belonging. Royal Show Day = 10/10 smiles all around! Our Crosslinks crew hopped on the train, full of excitement (and maybe a few giggles), and set off for a day of pure fun. There were show bags galore, burgers for lunch, and enough adorable animals to melt even the toughest heart. But beyond the laughter and the Hot Wheels… it was a day of independence, connection and pride. Everyone did their thing — exploring, choosing and trying new THINGS!
