I think we would all agree Nambour and the hinterland is a community that responds wholeheartedly when called to assist in emergency and non emergency situations. In saying that, I cannot speak for other social supports groups but unsolicited donations can be problematic. Dropping food, clothes and other items at doors without the knowledge of the organisation encourages scavenging, unwelcomed rodents and other social complications. If you are planning to donate to any of our awesome agencies particularly The Shack please take a moment and give us a call , if our opening hours do not suit we are happy to organise a pick up time etc. We appreciate the heartbeat of our community and those who call it home . ❤️💙 (fb)
