This year marked the second annual collaboration between Xavier College and John Monash Science School Algorithmics students in the A.I. Ethics Conference – and the first time Xavier had the privilege of hosting. Held in the Kostka Library, 31 students stepped into the shoes of global stakeholders, debating and amending a draft resolution on the ethical use of Artificial Intelligence in a format modelled on the United Nations. It was a day of rich discussion, collaboration, and applied learning, bringing the curriculum beyond the classroom and into real-world contexts.
