Two of our Flinders Tyabb students proudly represented Victoria in the National Schools Culinary Competition in Brisbane over the weekend. Congratulations to Georgia A and Joanie B, who returned with a Silver Medal at the nationals – an incredible achievement! Over the weekend, they were hosted by the Australian Culinary Federation and experienced a range of opportunities, including masterclasses, back-of-house tours at Brisbane’s Convention Centre restaurant, sustainability workshops, and fine dining experiences – all leading up to competing against the best from across the country. This marks the first time Flinders has reached the national level in this competition, and we couldn’t be prouder.
