This is a story of cultural connection from the place of the springs, as it bursts into life through the veins and through the passion in the hearts of these Jarjums from Goonellabah Public School. They raise their fists and sing loud and proud in language, celebrating the beauty and meaning of their heritage, while stepping up for their mob. From the bush to the sea and from the creek to the dam, they learn, and they teach us all about their country and the bountiful life that lives and flows through it. Through kindness, resilience and respect, these leaders of the future show us all the pathway forward to a brighter and more harmonious Australia. A place where all peoples of all ages and backgrounds come together and unite hands in realisation that we’re all one with this beautiful and abundant nature that surrounds us.
