On Friday we gathered as a community to celebrate Father’s Day with our dads, grandads and father figures. The morning began with a bacon and egg roll and a friendly game of cricket on the playground, before moving into the hall for a special assembly. Together we shared prayer and a blessing from Fr Max, who blessed our fathers and father figures and presented them with a prayer card and a medallion of St Joseph, patron of fathers and of our school. We also enjoyed some classic “dad jokes” judged by our Kindergarten students, and a special song performed by our Kinder class for their dads and father figures.
