This morning, the GRAINLANDER has continued on its overnight journey from Melbourne to Sea Lake, with intermediate stops at Ballarat and Wycheproof. In the wee small hours of the night, we assisted V/Line at Ballarat to attach another locomotive which needs to be relocated to Melbourne with our return journey tomorrow. This gives our GRAINLANDER train some additional power for the remainder of its journey. At Wycheproof, we paused allowing guests to visit this vibrant community and meet some of the local hosts. Onwards through Broadway (where the railway runs through the middle of the roadway) we continued to Sea Lake, arriving ahead of schedule. While volunteers provision the train carriages for the return journey, guests enjoy off-train touring with our tour guides and Jamie from Starts bus lines of Charlton.
