Our Hummingbird logo honours Daniel Haslam. Dan is the reason for the creation of United in Compassion and the organisation’s aim to achieve legal access of Medicinal Cannabis for all Australians who need it. A promise made to Dan, by his mother Lucy. The Hummingbird is a symbol of all things good.” Tomorrow, February 24 2025, is the 10th anniversary of Dan's death. Many will take a quiet moment to reflect on more than a decade of advocacy, love and loss. Profound loss. Dan and the Haslam Family are at the centre of all that we do. Last night, in 50 shades of green and with a good measure of poignancy, we commemorated and celebrated.
