The Australian Aphasia Association (AAA) is a support and advocacy organisation for people with #aphasia, their families and the professionals who help them. A not-for-profit organisation supporting people with aphasia, their family and friends. We maintained our website that provides high quality information about aphasia and links people with aphasia to support groups throughout Australia. We maintained our active Facebook page which posts summaries of the latest aphasia research and shares useful information from other aphasia organisations. We host an online Zoom group every week to connect people with aphasia, and a book club once a month. We regularly post news about new aphasia research projects to our members via email and Facebook. We answer members questions, apply for grants and convene a quarterly videoconference with other state aphasia organisations in Australia.
