MLC Kindle recently celebrated its 25th anniversary with a magical Festival of Stories. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia Festival in Italy, the evening brought our community together through storytelling and imagination – the perfect way to honour this milestone. Former Kindle students were welcomed back to share treasured memories, while children and families created and illustrated their own original stories in interactive spaces. Guests also enjoyed a collection of stories shared by beloved storytellers, including Pallyan, educators from Kindle and the Junior School, and a few wonderful parents. Term 3 began with an inspiring day of leadership training for our newly elected Junior Secondary School Mentor Group Captains. Guided by Jaime from Unleashing Personal Potential, the session challenged students to connect with each other, learn about different leadership styles and reflect on the kind of leader they aspire to be. To finish the day, captains partnered with their Co-Mentor Group Captain to brainstorm and plan meaningful activities for their Mentor Groups for the semester ahead. ✵ #mlckew (fb)
