Today’s EPIC Freshwater Walk Wrap-Up This morning, 22 parents came together for our EPIC walk. 7 joining us for the first time, and 15 wonderful regular community members. It was more than a walk, as always, today sparked rich conversations about neurodiversity, schooling, youth mental health, and the everyday realities of parenting through challenge. At EPIC, we recognise parents as the first responders in youth mental health. When parents feel supported, resourced, and heard, the positive impact ripples outward, to their children, families, schools, and communities. Peer support is powerful, yet it’s often overlooked in current funding models. EPIC is calling for corporate and philanthropic partners to help us sustain and grow this life-changing work.
