(b) To achieve these objects, the company may, without limitation: i. harness the resources of the community in support of the objects in clause 6(a); ii. establish and maintain affiliations and information exchange with other organisations having similar objects to those in clause 6(a); iii. act as trustee of any trust the purpose of which relates to the objects in clause 6(a); iv. promote the objects in clause 6(a); v. do all other things incidental or conducive to the attainment of the objects in clause 6(a), including any action described in following subparagraphs; vi. apply for and hold a community broadcasting license and any other telecommunications licenses; vii. operate a community broadcasting service and to purchase, erect, furnish, equip and maintain premises, audio studios and production facilities of a broadcast standard for use by the community; viii. undertake all measures necessary to provide a broadcasting service to encourage, enable and facilitate communication within the community by operating and developing community media activities servicing ethnic communities and in particular to: 1) establish and facilitate communication within the community by broadcasting programs dealing with local issues, events, culture and activities and other content relevant to the broadcasting communities; 2) exceed at all times the minimum Australian content provisions outlined in the Community Broadcasting Code of Practice; 3) provide the opportunity for community groups and related associations, organisations and individuals to be involved in the production and presentation of original programs; 4) promote the work of Australian musicians and performers of ethnic backgrounds and regularly play new material and music of emerging artists and to this end provide broadcasting and recording facilities to encourage Australian music talent.
