The teachers spent a day reflecting on their own spirituality on Tuesday. The morning started with Dadirri (an Aboriginal reflection) to help us be still, listen and be present before being led by a volunteer from the Aboriginal Heritage office through parts of Manly Dam to learn about how traditional peoples used the land and animals for connection to earth. Fr Resty then joined the staff to celebrate a lovely Mass at St Mary the Immaculate church as it was the Feast of Mary Magdalene. To finish the day we visited the shrine of Saint John Vianney with a real relic from the 19th century. (fb)
