The Queensland Taiwan Charity Fund has been hosting the Queensland Taiwan Cup Golf Tournament and Taiwanese Community Charity Fundraising Dinner, supporting the Trust and other charities for decades under the incredible leadership of Chairman Chin-Wen Wen. Over the years, this marks more than $500,000 donated to Brisbane's most vulnerable. We were delighted and humbled to once again be named as a beneficiary of this event and thank the Taiwan Charity fund and incredibly generous members of the Taiwanese community for their ongoing support. City Hall's auditorium has never sparkled more than it did on Saturday night for the Trust's Chandelier and Champagne Gala Ball. 580 guests gathered for a night of elegance and purpose - raising a glass and funds for grassroots charities across Brisbane ✨🍾. Levi Xander pre-gala entertainment set the tone for the night, with smooth and sophisticated tunes on keys and sax. The evening officially opened with a breath-taking performance of "Chandelier" by Rebecca Cassidy accompanied by the incredibly talented Dr Courtenay Cleary on violin. A big thank you to our high-energy host, Michael Balk, and Haesley Cush's exceptional auctioneering - both of whom have generously donated their time to the Trust for years. Later in the evening, the dance floor lit up thanks to Hamilton Band who delivered an incredible live set, that had everyone celebrating late into the night. Special thanks to our styling and event partners: The Event Society , Events Fantastic, Epicure, NW Group , Rowland and Expo Net - your work helped bring our vision to life.
