Our VALUES are: Ethical, Evidence driven, Inclusive, Compassionate In 2022 we ran a series of profession webinars to support Australian acupuncturists provide outreach to their communities for those people experiencing chronic pain. The webinars had three main areas of focus: interpreting acupuncture research to provide evidencebased treatments; understanding the quality of acupuncture research and how acupuncturists can use the evidence to comply with AHPRA s advertising guidelines while being able to confidently communicate the evidence for acupuncture as a therapeutic intervention for chronic pain to both their community (general public) and other health professionals. Finally a third webinar looked at the means of communicating about chronic pain in the treatment room and was delivered by a psychologist.
