Rockhampton Girls Grammar School

Rockhampton Girls Grammar School is an independent non-denominational private school located in Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia. It offers a continuum of education from Prep to Year 12 and is the only all-girls day and boarding school in Central Queensland.

History

The school was built in 1890 by Moir Cousins and Co and designed by Edwin Morton Hockings, reflecting a Gothic architectural style. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on October 20, 2000, for its historical and architectural significance, particularly from the 1890s to the early 1900s.

The school provides air-conditioned bus services for students residing in Northside residences, Gracemere, and Yeppoon. Additionally, it offers out-of-school-hours care programs to support families with busy schedules.
