✨ Wellbeing Day 2025 at Sunrise Marion & Temple Marion Middle School ✨ Last week, Sunrise Christian School in Marion celebrated Wellbeing Day—a fun day each year where we pause and highlight the importance of caring for the mind, body, and spirit. 💛 Throughout the day, we explored how God looks at our hearts and how we can honour Him by caring for the incredible bodies He has given us—His temples. 🎨🖍️🎵📝🏃Across the school, students engaged in meaningful activities that reminded us of God's love and how we can honour Him with our lives: From Reception to Grade 3, students engaged in calming mindfulness colouring while reflecting on Bible verses about how God sees them. They also enjoyed skipping games and freestyle challenges to promote fitness and fun. Participated in scripture listening, expressive movement with the Lord's Prayer, and a peaceful worship time with music. 💙A highlight of the day was our Jump Rope for Heart event. Students worked together and raised an amazing $4,646 for the Heart Foundation! 🎙️ We also had LifeFM, who joined us to share the message of Wellbeing Day with the broader community. Some of our teachers and students even had the special opportunity to speak on the radio to share how the school puts students' wellbeing first every day—thank you, LifeFM, for helping us share God's goodness in this way! 🌈✨To conclude the event, primary and middle school students came together for the colour run, having fun while running or walking around the local oval as they were covered in different colours. Mother's Day activities at Sunrise!💛 Last week, all our Sunrise locations celebrated Mother's Day in different ways. Our Reception and Grade 2 students at Sunrise Morphett Vale worked on special Mother's Day art activities to celebrate their amazing mums. 💐 They created bright, colourful bookmarks and finger paintings on paper with sweet messages like, "I couldn't wish for a better Mum!" and chose colours they think Mum would love. 🎨🖍️ Sunrise Paradise hosted a lovely coffee morning event with delicious treats for all the mothers while they dropped the children off for school - just a little something to make the mums feel special and appreciated. 💛💙✨ What did you do this Mother's Day?
