Arts & Cultural Exchange is a Parramatta based arts organisation with a vision for creative & culturally empowered Western Sydney communities & artists. ACE is a Western Sydney community arts organisation working in the areas of cultural development, screen culture & digital technology Worked with Western Sydney's vulnerable and disengaged youth through a bespoke education program grounded in creativity, furthering positive connection to community and selfexpression. Reinforced independence, selfempowerment, confidence, reduced isolation, creative thinking/problem solving and leadership in young people through free accessible and supportive outlets and resources. All our programs are socially and culturally aware, youth driven and empowering to provide a safe and inclusive environment for participants to connect, collaborate and grow networks. This grants young people an entry point into creative pathways and employment, becoming leaders in the industry and community. We provided economic independence, personalised training and employment opportunities to women from migrant and refugee backgrounds living in Western Sydney. The different programs are free and reduce disadvantage and isolation by facilitating creativity, innovation, and digital engagement to build and nurture confidence, wellbeing, participation, social inclusion and self determination. We supported women to get back into the workforce or start their own small business by improving their communications skills, literacy and financial skills by providing business workshops to improve their resumes and boost their confidence to present their best self at interviews. We supported their artistic practice through diverse creative mediums such as embroidering, weaving or storytelling to enhance their sense of pride and belonging. We provided industryfocused training for Western Sydney's early career screen practitioners from First Nations, Torres Strait Islands, LBGTQI+, disability and other underrepresented communities, with no financial burden for participants and brokered paid attachments and placement opportunities with production companies, providing many early career practitioners with a pathway to employment. We provided support and resources for storytellers from underrepresented communities in the early development of screen projects, that powerfully speak to mainstream audiences. We provided social inclusion and professional and personal development for vulnerable, isolated musicians with autism and other cognitive disorders who, on their own, face multiple, complex and in most cases insurmountable barriers to participation in the music industry. We worked with Western Sydney's First Nations emerging and established artists providing continuous support and opportunities to pursue their artistic training with the support of our Dharug Knowledge Holders in order to continue cultural strength and self determination. As a result of this, First Nations youth continue to be upskilled with the support of the community both professionally and in the development of their artistry. We are proud to continue to onboard new First Nations staff, and present original self developed works from emerging First Nations Artists in Western Sydney.

We work on the lands skies and waters of the Burramadagal of the Dharug and we pay our respects to their Ancestors and Elders past present and emerging. Their ceremonies stories traditions and spirit live and remain. We honour their custodianship seen and unseen. First Nations first diversity and equity are our guiding principles.
