Based in Wingham New South Wales, Mid Coast Outreach Inc. is here to relieve the poverty and distress of our rural and regional community. Our aim is to help anyone in crisis whether it is personal or climatic in the Mid Coast LGA. MCO provides community support and relief for the Mid Coast LGA region, through food relief, free counselling sessions, referral services and a guidance service to recovery. We work with rural and remote families and individuals who have been impacted by the 2019 Bushfires, floods, and the COVID19 pandemic. We do home visits to drop off essentials to those isolating due to COVID19 exposure. Our centre is a dropin centre for the homeless and vulnerable, where we provide refreshments and internet services. We supplied pratical support.counselling and welfare checks to all those impacted by several flood events during 20212022. We helped all those in need during the current lack of housing in Australia. We helped all going thru crises ,wishing to use our services during covid 19 and any crises within their lives with many services we now provide. We have now started setting up outposts in remote areas lacking any type of service,linking and bringing the community needs ,needed to build recovery and resiliance.
