In 2022 4ZZZ continued to connect and amplify the voices of our local communities by delivering affordable broadcaster training and broader skills development among other areas of the radio industry such as production and technical skills through internship programs. 4ZZZ worked to develop the next generation of radio broadcasters by undertaking a Schoolbased trainee who undertook a Cert III in Screen and Media, as well as running several work experience placements with students from around Brisbane. We supported local arts and musicians with airplay, interviews and promotion of local cultural events. 4ZZZ ran two successful subscriber drives which increased our subscriptions revenue and has enabled us to sustainably pursue our strategic goals of engaging the local community and giving people an accessible platform for their issues
