Located in Ranchi, in the Indian state of Jharkhand, WVS Hope is doing vital work to protect and save animals from cruelty and suffering. As well as improving animal welfare, the team are also supporting rabies control efforts through vaccination and sterilisation – to protect not only animals, but people too. Alongside this, education is a core pillar of the work here. Training is provided for veterinary professionals to ensure sustainable improvements for animals, and education programmes are also delivered within schools and communities.
