Afghan Fajar Association Incorporated
The Afghan Fajar Association Incorporated (AFAIC) is a nonprofit organization based in Sydney, Australia. It was founded in early 2008 by members of the Afghan community to support and enhance the lives of Afghan refugees and others within the community.
Activities and Services
AFAIC offers a variety of services and programs aimed at integrating new arrivals and fostering community engagement. Some of the key activities include:
- Youth Projects: Focused on providing opportunities and support for young people within the Afghan community.
- Welfare Relief: Offering assistance for those in need, including support during challenging times or crises.
- Community Engagement: Organizing events such as Harmony & Nowrouz Celebrations and participating in Refugee Week to promote cultural awareness and unity.

- Afghan Women Empowerment Program (AWEP): Designed to empower Afghan women through education and empowerment initiatives.
