Since we first introduced the Convocation Medal in 1991, the Flinders community has embraced our annual Alumni Awards, with a strong field of nominations received each year from across the globe. This growing interest blossomed the launch of two more awards, the Distinguished Alumni Award in 2006 and the Early Career Alumni Award in 2020. This year, we will see the John Moriarty AM Impact Award presented for the first time. More than 200 Flinders alumni have been recognised for their significant contribution to the University, the community or their chosen field. From activists to physicists, artists and entrepreneurs, alumni from all walks of life have been awarded over the years.
