The Local Drug Action Team Program Showcase Report launched at Parliament House. The event aimed to spotlight our Local Drug Action Teams and the positive impact they’re having across Australia – using place-based approaches to prevent and reduce alcohol and other drug harm. We also celebrated the milestone of 1000 Community Action Plans delivered. These evidence-based action plans guide each LDAT’s prevention activities and are designed by LDATs to address the unique needs of their community. We were joined by ADF staff, MPs, other community leaders. It was a great reminder that every community is unique. Investing in community-led prevention is vital to preventing alcohol and other drug harms, because local people understand their own communities best. @alcoholdrugfdn (fb)
