64,288 Meals Delivered—and We’re Just Getting Started! 🚛 In March 2025, a shipping container carrying 22,300 kg of dried vegetable soup mix arrived in Phalombe, Malawi—four months after leaving port. In just the past few weeks, our local team has already distributed 64,288 meals, bringing daily nourishment to: 🍽️ 680 inmates across 2 prisons 👧 18 girls at a shelter for survivors of human trafficking And this is just the beginning. This shipment will provide a total of 1,000,000 meals over the next 12 months—feeding vulnerable individuals in 3 prisons, a girls’ shelter, and 5 rural communities. But we’re not stopping at relief… In addition to daily meals, beneficiaries will also receive training in Thrive’s organic gardening practices, empowering them to take steps toward long-term food security. It’s incredible to meet urgent needs—but we must help communities become self-sufficient.
