“START YOUR MORNING BY SPEAKING LIFE OVER YOURSELF” “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” Proverbs 18:21 (KJV) Every morning when you rise, before the world begins to speak its noise and negativity, you have the power to declare who you are and what your day will become. The words you speak over yourself set the tone for your thoughts, your faith, and your direction. God’s Word teaches us that our tongue carries the power of life and death so we must choose to speak life. Here are five lines to speak over yourself each morning. These words are rooted in faith, confidence, and truth. Let each declaration be more than just words, let it be a seed sown into your spirit that grows throughout the day. 1. “I am the best.” You are not saying this in pride, but in purpose. God created you uniquely and intentionally. You are the best version of you that has ever existed. You don’t need to compare yourself to others because you were “fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14 KJV). When you say, “I am the best,” you are affirming that God did not make a mistake when He made you. You are declaring excellence, confidence, and self-worth that is anchored in divine design. 2. “I can do it.” Faith without works is dead, but belief without declaration is weak. Philippians 4:13 reminds us, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” When you tell yourself “I can do it,” you are reminding your spirit that your strength comes from the Lord. It may not be easy, but with Christ, it’s possible. This line activates determination and persistence in your heart. It silences fear and awakens courage. 3. “God is always with me.” This is your anchor in uncertain times. When you speak this, you are reminding yourself that you are never alone. God promised, “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee” (Hebrews 13:5 KJV). Whatever challenges you face, God walks beside you. His presence protects you, guides you, and fills you with peace. Say it with faith: God is with me in my work, my relationships, my struggles, and my victories. 4. “I am a winner.” Victory is not determined by circumstances; it’s a mindset shaped by faith. Romans 8:37 declares, “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” You are not defeated. You are not behind. You are walking in victory because Christ already overcame the world. When you proclaim, “I am a winner,” you’re not boasting in self, but in the power of Christ who gives you victory every single day. 5. “Today is my day.” Every new day is a divine gift; a blank page filled with God’s potential. Psalm 118:24 proclaims, “This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” When you speak this, you are seizing your God-given opportunity to live with joy, hope, and expectation. Today is your day to shine, to grow, to love, and to make a difference. Yesterday is gone, tomorrow is not promised but today is yours to glorify God! Heavenly Father, I truly thank You for blessing me with another beautiful day. I speak life over myself right now. I am the best because You made me wonderfully. I can do it because You strengthen me. I am never alone because You are always with me. I am a winner through Christ who gives me victory. And today is my day, the day You have made for me to walk in joy, peace, and purpose. I pray you fill my heart with confidence, my mind with clarity, and my steps with divine favor. Let my words align with Your truth and let everything I do bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen and To God Be The Glory! (fb)
