Inala Community House
Inala Community House (ICH) is a non-profit, non-government organisation dedicated to serving individuals, families, and communities in Inala and surrounding areas of Queensland, Australia. Founded in 1966, ICH aims to enhance the lives and development of families within the local community.
Mission and Services
Over the past five decades, Inala Community House has evolved to meet the growing needs of the community, expanding its services to benefit greater Brisbane areas. ICH offers a wide range of services designed to support diverse community needs, including:
- Family Intervention Services and Foster and Kinship Care programs to provide support for families and vulnerable children.
- My Place Family Day Care, offering quality home-based child care for families in South East Queensland.
- Out of Home Care services, providing guidance and support for potential foster carers.
- Venue Hire, with available spaces like 'Our Place' Hall and others for community and private events.
- Community Support activities, which include free community programs for all ages and backgrounds.
- Healthy Ageing Programs, such as SkyLarkers, featuring activities like gentle exercise and social groups.
- Settlement Services to assist new migrants settling in Australia.
- NDIS Support Coordination to help individuals manage their National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) plans.
Events
Inala Community House also organizes the Inala Multicultural Festival, a free event celebrating cultural diversity through performances, food, rides, and diverse stalls. This festival reflects ICH's commitment to fostering community unity and understanding.

ICH was originally established in 1966 to improve the life and development of families within the Inala community. Over the past 50 years ICH has developed to meet the growing needs of the community and service greater Brisbane areas with innovative services and programs. Inala Multicultural Festival The Inala Multicultural Festival is a FREE one day only event available to families in our local community and surrounding areas.
