🎨 Kindy Goes to GOMA! ✨ Last week our little artists visited the Queensland Art Gallery & GOMA to celebrate the end of our art program! After lots of excitement (and practice of the GOMA rules – walking feet, quiet voices and hands away from the art 👣🤫), the children were ready for their big day out. They loved exploring Tony Albert’s giant hose sculpture before setting off on a treasure hunt 🕵️‍♀️ to find artworks using pictorial clues – including some by artists we’d discovered during our art journey. The children then searched for elements like vertical lines, dots and radiating patterns, proudly using what they’ve learned over the past two terms. A visit to the Children’s Art Centre rounded out the day, where Vipoo Srivilasa’s “Garden of Love” invited the children to explore their emotions through drawing, dancing and play 💃🎨. A day full of creativity, connection and memories to last well beyond the kindy year! 💛 (fb)
